Elizabeth Louise Trigilio

Elizabeth Louise Trigilio, 79, of Harrisburg, PA, formerly of Erie, PA, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2013 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, PA. Elizabeth was born in Erie, PA on February 8, 1934, the daughter of the late Stefan and Anna (Trochowski) Lagner.

She retired as head nurse of the Trauma Center at St. Vincent's Hospital, Erie, PA. Elizabeth was a lay volunteer at the Carmelite Monastery in Erie. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Erie.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Trigilio, Sr., a daughter MaryJo Trigilio, two sons Michael and Joseph Trigilio, three brothers, Lawrence, Stephen and Joseph Lagner and one sister Josephine Krotozynski.

Surviving are two sons, Rev. Dr. John Trigilio, Jr., of Marysville and Mark E. Trigilio, of Erie, one sister, Rita Dropcho, of Erie and a brother, Edward Lagner, of Florida.and three sisters-in-law, Rose Rzepecki, Mary Jane Denen and Martha Schumacher, all of Erie.

Friends may call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street on Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a service there on Monday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church, 1626 West 26th Street, on Monday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Building Funds of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church or St. Bernadette's Church, 121 Williams Street, Marysville, PA 17053.
