Esther A. Cifolelli Gentile
Esther A. Cifolelli Gentile, age 91, resident of Golden Living Center - Western Reserve, died Monday, January 28, 2008 at Saint Vincent Health Center after a brief illness.
She was born March 27, 1916 in Erie, a daughter of the late Charles and Adaline Tonti Cifolelli. She lived in Erie her entire life. She had worked at Louis Marx Toys, Lovel Manufacturing and Nosco Plastics. She was a lifetime member of Saint Paul RC Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Vincent, Albert and John Cifolelli. She is survived by her husband, Riccardo Gentile of Erie; one sister, Alberta C. Lamb and her husband Charles of Westport, CT; three nephews, Mark Lamb and his wife Amy of Kirkland, WA, John Lamb of Fairfield, CT and Todd Lamb of New York City, NY; one grand niece and nephew, Mira and Adam Lamb both of Kirkland, WA; one step-niece and nephew, Sr. Katherine Disbrow, O.S.B. of Erie and Henry Disbrow of Vannuis, CA. She is also survived by two step-grand nephews, John and Thomas Groh and one step-grand niece Tina Groh all of Erie.
Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Thursday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm and may attend a service there on Friday at a time to be announced followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Paul RC Church, 1617 Walnut Street, at a time to be announced. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
