Frances A. Fusco Colegrande
Frances A. Fusco Colegrande, 85, of Erie, passed away Sunday August 27, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving husband and sons. She was born November 28, 1931 in Buffalo, NY, a daughter of the late Pellegrino and Mary Jane (Marchello) Fusco.
Frances had worked at Erie Resistor and The Blue Max Restaurant at the Erie Airport.
She was an accomplished singer and solo lead choir member in the Saint Jude and Chautauqua Choir.
Frances enjoyed bingo, the casino, and was generous for giving gifts of her famous pizzelle cookie recipe.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter Pamela Colegrande; three sisters Mary Yusko, Toni Soto, and Margaret Fracassi; and Brian's black lab Sadie which she enjoyed and adored.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband of 63 years, Armand M. Colegrande of Erie; two sons, Brian Colegrande of Erie, and Michael A. Colegrande (Teresa) of Trenton, MI; three grandchildren, Tommie Davis Jr., Issabella Colegrande and Giuliana Colegrande; a sister, Phyllis Meeks; and special niece, Laurie Bizzarro. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and may attend a service there on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Jude the Apostle Church, 2801 West 6th Street, at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
