Frank S. Trigilio Jr.
Frank S. Trigilio Jr., age 87, of Erie, died Sunday March 29, 2009 at Millcreek Community Hospital. He was born September 1, 1921 in Erie, a son of the late Frank S. Triglio Sr. and the late Mary Lipari Trigilio.
He lived in Erie his entire life. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He enjoyed bowling, golf, horseshoes and gardening. He was the 1974 Erie County Horseshoe Champion.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Rose Cash Trigilio; his second wife, Margaret R. Iacobucci Trigilio; one son, Carmen Trigilio; two brothers, Richard and John Trigilio and one sister, Evelyn McMahon. He is survived by a daughter, Mary Ann Powell and her husband Dennis of Sigel, PA; two sons, Frank S. Trigilio III and his wife Patti of Houston, TX and Anthony Trigilio and his wife Shelly of Chicago, IL and four sisters, Betty Cash, Mary Jane Dennen, Martha Schumacher and her husband Jack and Rose Rzepecki all of Erie. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Wednesday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 until the time of service there at 8:30 p.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
