Gary J. Karpinski

Gary J. Karpinski, age 47, of Erie, died Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at his residence. He was born September 25, 1963 in Erie, a son of Louise Giliberto Karpinski of Erie and the late Edward Karpinski.

He lived in Erie his entire life. He had worked at Hamot Medical Center and Independence Court. He was an avid sports fan, comic book and memorabilia collector.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his sister, Linda A. Hedges and her husband Mark of Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Monday from 10 am until time of a Memorial Funeral Service there at Noon. Burial will be private at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society, 2707 Interchange Rd., Erie, PA 16506.
