Gary P. Majczyk

Gary P. Majczyk, age 63, of Erie, died unexpectedly on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at UPMC Hamot. He was born Mary 31, 1950 in Erie, a son of the late Stanley and Florence Andrzejewski Majczyk.

He served in the National Guard during the Vietnam War. He was a self taught electrician and mechanic.

Gary was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years Susan D. Regal Majczyk; one daughter, Stacie L. Majczyk; three sons, Matthew P. Majczyk (Amanda), Michael N. Majczyk and David T. Majczyk and three sisters, Mary A. Hendricks (Robert), Christine A. Moczulski and Kathleen A. Farrell all of Erie. Also surviving are five grandchildren, one great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a Funeral Mass on Wednesday at Saint Julia RC Church, 638 Roslyn Avenue, at 10 a.m. Burial will be private in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
