Georgina A. Belluomini Manzi, age 89, of Erie, died Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Elmwood Gardens following an extended illness.

She was born January 3, 1924 in Erie a daughter of the late Joseph and Vittoria Oligeri Belluomini. She had lived in Erie all her life.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her brother Robert "Bob" Belluomini and sister-in-law Janet Manzi.

She is survived her husband Gilbert J. Manzi, to whom she was married 63 years; two daughters, Carol M. Laskowski and her husband Tom, and Vickie A. McDonald; one son, Paul Manzi and his wife Debbie, all of Erie; five grandchildren, Joseph Manzi (Nadine), Anthony Manzi (Christen), Katie McDonald, Kevin McDonald, and Abby Laskowski; and two great-grandchildren, Olivia Manzi and Adaira Manzi.

The family would like to thank Dr. Rothman and the staff of the Regional Cancer Center and the staff of Elmwood Gardens.

Friends are invited to call on Wednesday at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.. and are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Thursday at Our Lady of Peace RC Church, 2401 West 38th Street at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Regional Cancer Center, 2500 West 12th Street, Erie, PA 16505
