Gerald J. Jurino

Gerald J. Jurino, 80, of Erie, passed away Friday, June 29, 2018 at Saint Vincent Hospital.

He was born January 23, 1938 in Dunkirk, NY, a son of the late Stephen and Helen Slupski Jurino. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

Gerald was a welding supervisor at AMSCO for several years. He enjoyed fishing.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Stephen Jurino.

He is survived by one daughter Jessica Ferara of Erie, and one son, Benjamin W. Jurino (Elysia) of Erie. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

No calling hours will be observed. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, is handling the arrangements.
