Geraldine M. Kuzma-Haefner

Geraldine M. Kuzma-Haefner, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at Parkside at Glenwood. She was born on July 6, 1937 in Homestead, PA, a daughter of the late Anthony and Helen (Mrazik) Morone.

Gerry was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. She was a volunteer administrator at the Tri-Boro Senior Center. Gerry was a "people" person, outgoing and friendly to all. She will be missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Kuzma; her second husband, Nikolas Haefner; and her brother, Anthony Morone, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Jana (Asitava); two step-sons, Joseph Haefner (Betsy) and John Haefner (Connie); and one grandson, Giovanni Jana.

Geraldine's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff at Parkside at Glenwood and LECOM VNA Hospice for their exceptional care.

Friends are invited to call at Our Lady of Peace Church, 2401 West 38th Street, Erie, PA 16506 on Saturday, July 27, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass there at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Edinboro Cemetery. The mass will be livestreamed on the church's YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/@ourladyofpeaceerie6756). Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Peace Church at the above address.
