Gloria M. Satelli

Gloria M. Satelli, age 65, of Erie, died Monday, April 30, 2012 at Pleasant Ridge Manor West after an extended illness.

She was born April 6, 1946 in Erie, a daughter of the late Nicola J. "Nick" and Lucia E.

"Lucy" Gigliotti Satelli. She lived in Erie her entire life.

She was a graduate of Villa Maria Academy and Villa College and received her Master's Degree from Gannon College. Gloria was a teacher in the Erie School District for 34 years until her retirement.

She loved animals and baking, and was a very charitable person.

She is survived by her brother, Silvio D. Satelli and wife Gina of Erie; one niece, Leily Damacio of Erie and best friends, Dr. Rose Rizzi of Staten Island, NY and Sr. James Francis Mulligan, SSJ of Erie. She is also survived by many cousins.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a service there on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Stephen RC Church, 1237 West 21st Street, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
