Grant R. Twiss
Grant R. Twiss, 63, of Erie, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness. He was born December 30, 1958 in Erie, a son of the late Richard and Lois Munson Twiss.
Grant was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School Class of 1977.
He was the owner and operator of PA Notary and Tax Service for over 35 years.
Grant was an avid golfer. He enjoyed downhill skiing, boating, and loved the water.
Grant's favorite thing to do was to relax on "Grant's time." He was known as a down to earth and "easy going" guy.
He is survived by his wife, Wendy M. Gentile-McCullough; two children, Marissa Avione (Michael) and Garrett Twiss; three step-children, Brian McCullough (Leanne), Erika McCullough and Carly McCullough; three brothers, Mark Twiss, Scott Twiss (Sue), and Eric Twiss (Carman); and six grandchildren, Kara, Ava, Lilly, London, Cora, and Savannah. He is also survived by his former wife, Joycelyn (Twiss) Wingo, many nieces and nephews, and best friend, Charlie.
Friends are invited to call on Thursday at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, 2122 Raspberry Street, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and may attend a Funeral Mass on Friday at Our Lady of Peace Church, 2401 West 38th Street, at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be private. Memorials may be made to Chosen Mission Project, 3638 West 26th Street, Erie, PA 16506 or to Hope on Horseback, 7280 Sterrettania Rd., Fairview, PA 16415.
