Helen J. Narducci Mannella

Helen J. Narducci Mannella, age 88, of West 21st Street, died Monday, April 20, 2009 at Hamot Medical Center. She was born September 23, 1920 in Erie, a daughter of the late Arcangelus and Barbara DiSanti Narducci.

She had owned Aldo's Restaurant, worked as a waitress and had worked at Lighting Systems. She also worked as a security guard at Gannon University. She enjoyed cooking, baking, bingo, playing cards, music, watching old movies and her family.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Vannucci and Rose Narducci and one brother, John Narducci.

She is survived by one brother, Henry Narducci of State College, PA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Thursday from 2 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm and may attend a service there on Friday at 9:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Paul RC Church, 1617 Walnut Street, at 10 am. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. A Christian Wake Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday at 3 pm.
