Jacquilin "Jackie" A. Ferrio Brosius, age 83, of Erie, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at LECOM Senior Living Center. She was born May 12, 1938 in Conneaut, OH, a daughter of the late Felix and Antonette Bartone Ferrio.

Jackie was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School.

After graduation Jackie worked as a secretary for GE, Hamot School of Nursing, and the Department of State in Washington, DC. She returned to Erie in 1968 and began working at Saint Vincent Hospital Food and Nutrition Department until her retirement in 2000.

Jackie enjoyed dancing, bowling, cooking, and traveling.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Brosius; her sister, Phyllis A. Ferrio; brother-in-law, Donald Brooks; and nephew, William Hansen.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Louise Brooks; nephew, David Brooks (Eileen); and nieces, Susan Wiesen (Jeff) and Natalie Hansen. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and one great great-niece.

Per Jackie's wishes visitation and funeral services will be private. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice. The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, is handling arrangements.
