James A. Comi

James A. Comi, age 48, of Millcreek, died Thursday, December 6, 2007 at his residence after a brief illness. He was born August 5, 1959 in Erie, a son of the late John J. Comi, Sr. and Rose F. D'Amico Comi. He received his Associates Degree from Tri-State Business Institute. He enjoyed cars, sports and karaoke.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, John J. "Butch" Comi Jr. He is survived by three brothers, Thomas D. Comi and his wife Betty Jo of Fairview, David M. Comi and his wife Janet of Erie and Jeffery R. Comi of Cleveland, OH and two sisters, Marjorie R. DelPorto and Jean L. Alexander and her husband William both of Erie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a service there Monday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint George RC Church, 5145 Peach Street, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
