James L. Heeter

James L. "Jim" Heeter, 80, of Erie, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Walnut Creek Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. He was born September 1, 1937 in Duhring, PA, a son of the late Richard and Inez Winger Heeter.

Jim enjoyed fishing, hunting, bingo, going to the casino and his favorite restaurant Golden Coral.

In addition to his parents he was preceded by his first wife Geraldine Luciano Heeter; second wife Audrey "Tina" Majczyk Heeter; two brothers Ronald and John Heeter; two infant brothers Richard and Paul Heeter; and a sister-in-law Joann Heeter.

He is survived by two brothers, Kenneth Heeter (Patricia) of Erie and Robert Heeter of McKean; sisters-in-law, Gina Heeter of Romania, Linda Heeter, Christine Molczulski, Kathleen Farrell, Susan Majczyk and Geraldine Majczyk; and brother-in-law, Robert Hendricks all of Erie. Also surviving many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and may attend a Funeral Service there on Saturday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
