Jay E. Nero Vetrone

Jay E. Nero Vetrone, age 94, formerly of 1337 West 39th Street, died Monday, January 21, 2008 at Saint Mary's Home of Erie.

She was born October 18, 1913 in Erie, a daughter of the late Archie and Anna Ritchie Nero. She lived in Erie her entire life. She had worked at London's and Kramer Furs and was a buyer for Jordan's.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Victor V. Vetrone and a sister, Marge Valvo. She is survived by one niece, Linda Lamb of Estero, FL; two great-nieces, Meghan Cann and her husband Matthew and Kirsta Thomas and her husband Mark both of Fort Meyers, FL and five great great-nieces and nephews, Aidan, Ava, Owen, Tristan and Elliott.

Friends are invited to attend call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm and may attend a service there on Saturday at 9:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Paul RC Church, 1617 Walnut Street, at 10 am Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. A Christian Wake Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday at 3 pm.
