Jeannette A. Ciotti Bickerstaff

Jeannette A. Ciotti Bickerstaff, 79, of Erie, passed away, Friday, January 20, 2017 at Saint Vincent Health Center. She was born June 24, 1937 in Erie, a daughter of the late George and Josephine Luciano Ciotti.

She was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School. She had worked as a librarian at JoAnna Connell School for over 30 years. Jeannette enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James H. Bickerstaff, a brother Jon Ciotti and two sisters, Geraldine Ciacchini and Gilda Beck.
She is survived by one daughter Denise C. Finotti (Michael); two sons, James E. Bickerstaff (Denise) and Jon Bickerstaff, all of Erie; and one brother George Ciotti (Dorine), Kingwood, TX. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at St. Luke RC Church, 421 East 38th Street, on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
