JoAnn P. Lachowski Chrostowski

JoAnn P. Lachowski Chrostowski, 83, of Erie, passed away, Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Saint Mary's at Asbury Ridge. She was born August 20, 1937 in Erie, a daughter of the late Walter and Josephine Horvatt Lachowski.

JoAnn enjoyed polka music, polka dancing, and going to the casino.

JoAnn loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was very active in their lives.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bernard Lachowski; her son-in-law, Robert Lachesky; and grandson, Steven Pettinato.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Peter Chrostowski; three daughters, Paula Lachesky, Cheryl Storten (John), and Marie Gray; two sons, Kenneth Chrostowski (Natalie) and Richard Chrostowski (Laurie); and sister-in-law, Christine Lachowski. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call on Wednesday at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc, 2122 Raspberry Street, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Visitors are required to wear masks and abide by social distancing requirements. Funeral Services will be private.
