John A. "Jack" Hall

John A. "Jack" Hall, 83, of Erie, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Golden Living Center Western Reserve. He was born September 5, 1933 in Burlington, VT, a son of the late Earl C. and Betty Hall.

He served in the United States Marines during the Korean War.

John worked in the Erie School District for over 30 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and spending time at his camp.

In addition to his parent he was preceded in death by his wife Patricia L. Giovannelli Hall.

He is survived by his three sons, David J. Hall (Veronica) of Irwin, PA, Thomas S. Hall (Linda) of Tucson, AZ, and James E. Hall (Jean) of Pittsburgh; one brother, Gary Hall (Sandy) of Burlington, VT; and four grandchildren. He is also survived by one great-grandchild

Friends may call on Monday at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery Chapel, 5711 West Lake Road, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service there at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, is handling arrangements.
