John A. Pitto

John A. Pitto, age 61, of Erie, died, Monday, May 21, 2007 in Roswell, Georgia.

He was born December 12, 1945 in Erie, a son of Catherine Barbaro Pitto of Erie and the late Anthony Pitto. He lived in Erie all his life.

In addition to his mother he is survived by one sister, Nancy Miles and her husband John of Cashiers, NC and three nieces, Valerie Miles of Barcelona, Spain, Leslie Kurtz and her husband Walter and Sherie Derks and her husband Stephen both of Atlanta, GA.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a Funeral Service on Saturday at Christian Assembly Church, 2417 Liberty Street, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Dr. Gertrude A. Barber Foundation, 100 Barber Place, Erie, PA 16507 or to the Christian Assembly Church, 2417 Liberty Street, Erie, PA 16502.
