John E. Pessa

John E. Pessa, 51, of Erie, died Friday, October 30, 2015 at his residence after a brief illness. He was born August 31, 1964 in Lynn, MA, a son of the late Paul and Marie McDuff Pessa. He lived in Erie most of his life.

John was a graduate of McDowell High School and served in the Army Reserve for twelve years.

He was employed at Joe Chromik Plumbing for the last seven years and was the former owner of Lucky Man's Pizza.

John enjoyed riding motorcycles and loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Catherine A. Locke Pessa of Erie; three daughters, Amber L. Pessa of Meadville, PA, Alissa A. Pessa, and Victoria R. Pessa; one son, Paul A. Pessa; one brother, Kenneth Pessa (Diane); one sister, Suzanne Marinus (Lee) all of Erie; and three grandchildren, Jaydin, Jessica, and Jamie. He is also survived by his niece, Krisha Pessa of Utah.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Tuesday evening from 6 p.m. until the time of the funeral service there at 8:30 p.m.
