John G. King
John G. "Jack" King, age 74, formerly of 1907 Liberty Street, died Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at the Village at Lutheran Square.
He was born October 14, 1933 in Erie, a son of the late Robert and Genevieve Loomis King. He worked at Marx Toys. He was an avid sports fan. He liked the Boston Red Socks and the Oakland Raiders.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Ronald, Billy and Spike King and two sisters, Beverly King and Betty Renaud.
He is survived by four sons, Clyde L. King and his fiancée Kathy Carney of Erie, Richard P. King and his wife Bobbie Sue of Erie, John G. King and his wife Frances of Fairview and Brian J. King and his wife Terra of Lake City; one brother, Buddy King of Lake City and one sister, Edna Macerata and her husband Donald of Erie. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Friday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. until the time of service there at 8:00 p.m. Burial will be in Erie Cemetery.
