John W. Matteo

John W. Matteo, age 69, resident of Edinboro Manor, died Thursday, July 24, 2008 there following an extended illness. He was born January 19, 1940 in Warren, PA, a son of the late Joseph and Julia Irene Matteo. He lived in Erie most of his life.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his nephew, Jeffrey J. Matteo Jr. He is survived by his brother, Jeffrey J. Matteo and two nephews, Daniel Matteo and Michael Matteo all of Erie.

No calling hours will be observed. A private service will be held at the family's convenience. The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, is handling arrangements.
