Joseph L. Vitale

Joseph L. Vitale, age 49, 3616 Schaper Avenue, died Saturday, March 8, 2008 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born August 23, 1958 in Erie, a son of the late Richard D. and Lucy A. Shioleno Vitale.

He was a loving father and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by two daughters, Nicole Vitale and her fiancée Matt Drabic, of Arlington, VA, and Stephanie Vitale of Erie; one son, Joseph Vitale of Erie; two brothers, Richard Vitale and his wife, Lori, of Erie, and Stephen Vitale and his fiancé, Tracie Moritz, Brookfield, WI. Also surviving are one grandchild, Autilli Vitale and nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, is handling the arrangements
