Joshua W. Thompson

Joshua W. Thompson, age 30, of Erie, died Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Hamot Medical Center.

He was born January 12, 1980 in Erie, a son of Glenn Thompson of McKean and Beth Schmidt Biby of Erie. He enjoyed art and playing drums. He also liked to hike, camp and fish.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Joseph Thompson.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Ruth Schmidt of Erie, maternal grandfather, Dr. William Schmidt of AR and paternal grandmother, Jessie Thompson.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Sunday from 12 to 5 pm and a private service will be held at the family's convenience.
