Karen D. Larson Sabatine

Karen D. Larson Sabatine, 79, of Erie, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022 at Saint Vincent Health Center. She was born September 23, 1942 in Erie, a daughter of the late Robert and Rhea Brown Larson.

Karen worked at Lacastro Plastics for many years and then ran her own day care.

She enjoyed macrame and needlepoint.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Leroy J. Sabatine; brother, Robert Larson; a sister, Bonnie Schafer; and an infant sister, Pamela Jean.

She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Hansen (Jeff); her son, Doug Erdely; sister, Debra Harvey (Thomas); four grandchildren, Christina Perry, James Perry, Bradley Hansen, and Michael Hansen; and great-grandson, Prestin Perry. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

No calling hours will be observed. Memorials may be made to the ANNA Shelter, 1555 East 10th St., Erie, PA 16511. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street.
