Kathleen M. Voelker Durst

Kathleen M. Voelker Durst, age 91, of Erie, died Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Millcreek Manor after a brief illness. She was born September 13, 1919 in Pittsburgh, PA a daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Dupont Voelker.

She retired from Seaway Aluminum. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George M. Durst and one brother, Harry Voelker.

She is survived by one daughter, Patricia L. Gentile and husband William of Erie and four grandchildren, Laura Gentile of Manassa, VA, Dawn Muffie and husband Brian, Shawne Scott and husband Robert and David Gentile all of Erie. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Thursday from 9 a.m. until time of service there at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
