Larry J. Pustelak
Larry J. Pustelak, 72, of Erie, died Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Saint Vincent Health Center following an extended illness. He was born October 8, 1943 in Erie, a son of the late Stanley C. and Agnes T. Havern Pustelak and had lived in Erie most of his life.
He served in the United States Army.
He was a graduate of Gannon University and had worked at National Forge for 26 years. He owned and operated B & J Glass Block and worked for Panther Industries and Hallman Chevrolet. He enjoyed golf, Cleveland Browns football and being with his friends.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law Brad Carmichael.
He is survived by his wife Frances M. Lopez Pustelak , Erie; two daughters Tammy M. Puckly (Thomas), Waterford, PA and Rebecca A. Shaw (Jamie), Erie; two step-daughters Patti Bruni (Tony), Erie, and Birgit Walker, Wolfboro, NH; three sons, Thomas J. Pustelak (Lisa), Linesville, PA, Robert P. Pustelak (Angie), Hampton, GA, and Stanley C. Pustelak (Dana), Owensboro, KY; one brother Richard Pustelak (Shirley), Virginia ; one sister Mary Ann Carmichael, North Carolina; and mother-in-law Petrina (Pat) Lopez, Erie. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. till the time of a Funeral Service there at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family.
