Laura (DiNicola) Lombardozzi, 97, joined hands with God on March 25, 2025 while surrounded by her family.
The world became a much brighter place on March 21, 1928, the day Laura was born to her parents, the late Ergomino and Giuliva (Mannarelli) DiNicola. Growing up in Erie's Little Italy, she graduated from Strong Vincent High School. Laura worked for many years at the American Sterilizer and finished her career at Erie TPE Federal Credit Union at the age of 85.

She is survived by her two daughters, Gina Grimm (Greg) of Ferndale, WA and Mariana Skonieczka of Erie and her daughter-in-law, Gloria (Iesue) Lombardozzi of Charlotte, NC.
Laura was active her whole life. She was a life long member and past president of the Montenero Ladies Society. She was a skilled China painting artist and past president of the Erie Porcelain Artists Guild.
Laura's passion was golf which she enjoyed playing well into her 80's. In her later years, she regularly met with her group of friends for cards at Andy's Pub. Her interests extended to visiting the casinos, traveling, reading, and participating in many bowling and bocce leagues. Above all, she adored spending time with her grandchildren.
Laura's grandchildren were her joy. Jacob (Nicci) Grimm, Andrew Grimm and Claudia (James) Grimm-Hill, Alexander (Sophia) Lombardozzi and Sophia Lombardozzi, and Carly (Kyle) Harpster, Jillian Skonieczka and Samuel Skonieczka. She is also survived by many adoring nieces and nephews.
