Laurie A. Wright Chester

Laurie A. Wright Chester, 59, of Erie, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Western Reserve following an extended illness. She was born April 29, 1957 in Westfield, NY, a daughter of Mariam Schroder Wright of Alabama and the late Clarence Wright.

She served in the United States Navy; where she worked as a D-3 Draftsman. She also had worked at Penn Union in Edinboro.

She was an avid naturist, animal lover, artist, and gardener.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Wright.

She is survived by two daughters, Heather L. Skelton (Prentice) and Amy Lowe both of Erie and three sisters, Loraine Guyer (Dale), Colleen Thorne (Michael), and Debbie Wright all of Alabama. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

No calling hours will be observed. A private service will be held at the family's convenience. The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, is handling arrangements.
