Lena "Lee" M. Gerbi Savelli

Lena "Lee" M. Gerbi Savelli, 100, of Erie, died Sunday, March 13, 2016 at St. Mary's East. She was born July 15, 1915 in Cabot, PA, a daughter of the late Tito and Fortuna Bonicoli Gerbi.

She was a member of St. Paul's Tabernacle Society (Altar/Rosary); the Noi-Atri Childhood Club for over 60 years, and a member of the Tuscany Club.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Patsy A. Savelli and a sister Naomi DiBacco and her husband Tony.

She is survived by two daughters, Myra Vacanti (Anthony), and Lisa Erdman, both of Erie; one son, Patrick A. Savelli (Jetta Louise) of Erie; a sister, Glorine Pizzo (Ben) of Erie; ten grandchildren, Patrick, Daniel, Eve, Annette, Paula, Stephanie, Carla, Nicholas, Andrea and James; ten great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

Also surviving are dear cousins, Lorraine Squeglia (Richard) and Ada Gerbi, both of Erie.

Friends may call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Paul's RC Church, 1617 Walnut Street, on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery.
