Lillian M. Satkiewicz Lesonik

Lillian M. Satkiewicz Lesonik was born on July 15, 1924 and entered Our Lord's Kingdom on October 5, 2007, at the age of 83, surrounded by All of her loved ones in her home of more than fifty years. Lillian Lost her parents at a young age and was raised by her sister Clara. She Loved Clara not only as her big sister, but also as a mother and best Friend. They shared an unbreakable bond and have been reunited at last.

Lillian was a God-fearing woman and member of Our Lady of Peace parish. Her great joy and happiness in life were investing her Time and energy into her three sons, James, John, and David, and her Grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Others describe Lillian as an Unconditionally loving, patient, compassionate, forgiving, optimistic, And easy-going mother, grandmother, and friend. Her exceptionally Brilliant sense of humor was her trademark.

Lillian can be compared to the virtuous woman of Proverbs 31:10-30. "Strength and honor are her clothing...She openeth her mouth With wisdom, and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well To the ways of her household...Her children arise up, and call her Blessed." She left this world better than when she arrived so many Years ago. She will be greatly missed but never, ever forgotten.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Mr. And Mrs. Adam Satkiewicz; her sister, Clara Kloss; and her brother Felix Satkiewicz. She is survived by three sons, James, John, and David Lesonik; three daughters-in-law, Shera McQueen, Crystal Bliss, and Kimberly Schauer; her grandchildren, James Lesonik, Jr., Heidi Harris, Laura Lesonik and Steve Kunik, David and Camille Lesonik, Kara and Michael DeJohn, Adam, Sherah, and Beverly Lesonik; and four Great-grandchildren, Kory Lesonik, Samuel and Amara DeJohn, and Haiden Kunik; as well as two other great-grandchildren on the way, all residing In Erie County, Pennsylvania.

Friends may call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street On Monday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM and are invited to attend a service there on Tuesday at 9:45 am followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Peace Church, 2401 West 38th Street, at 10:15 am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be Made to the Great Lakes Hospice, 1700 Peach Street, #244, Erie, PA 16501.
