Linda L. Gianoni Urban

Linda L. Gianoni Urban, age 60, of Winter Springs, Florida, formerly of Erie, died Friday, December 28, 2007 in Orlando, Florida. She was born August 8, 1947 in Erie, a daughter of the late Guido "Tech" and Candida Yacobozzi Gianoni.

She received a bachelor in Education from Medaille College. She had worked for St. Andrews School in Buffalo and for the Seminole County Public School in Florida. She enjoyed traveling, reading, knitting, crocheting and most importantly her granddaughter, Ella.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Giacomelli. She is survived by her husband of 39 years Thomas R. Urban of Winter Springs, FL; a daughter, Katherine Pudhorodsky and her husband Matthew of Lake View, NY; a son, Jonathan Urban of Orchid Park, NY; two brothers, John Gianoni and his wife Anne and David Gianoni both of Erie; one sister, Karen Cantafio and her husband Joseph of West Seneca, NY and a sister-in-law, Joyce Urban Gallina and her husband, Danny of Erie. She is also survived by one granddaughter, Ella Pudhorodsky and nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at Holy Rosary RC Church, 2701 East Ave., on Thursday at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the John Kanzius Cancer Research Fund, c/o The Erie Community Foundation, 127 W 6th St., Erie, PA 16501.The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, is handling arrangements.
