Linda Rivera-Pena, 72, of Erie, passed away peacefully with her children by her side on Friday, January 17, 2025 at LECOM at Presque Isle. She was born May 29, 1952 in Buffalo, NY, a daughter of the late Anthony and Caroline (Cameroni) Klonowski.
She was a devoted mother and a compassionate caregiver, dedicating many years to her work as a home healthcare caretaker. She had a passion for dancing and found joy in reading novels. A talented cook, she delighted in preparing meals and hosting gatherings, bringing warmth and happiness to those around her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Kenneth and Butch Klonowski and Dwight Rank; one infant sister, Diane Klonowski.
She is survived by her daughter, Angelic Wodarski (Israel); son, Ruben Rivera; sister, Sharon Hammond (Harold); sisters-in-law, Cheyenne Klonowski and Sherrie Klonowski; two grandsons, Anthony and Mark Wodarski; and lifelong friend, Rhonda Sharie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Linda's family would like to extend a special thank you to Alisa Farrar for the exceptional care she provided.
Friends are invited to call on Thursday, January 23, at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service there at 6:00 p.m. Burial will be private in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
