Lois S. Blair Bernardini

Lois S. Blair Bernardini, 84, of Erie, died Friday, May 18, 2012 at Saint Mary's Asbury Ridge. She was born September 17, 1926 in Erie, a daughter of the late David and Mary Bartlett Blair.

She was a graduate of the nursing program at Philadelphia Presbyterian Hospital and was Associate Professor at Villa College School of Nursing. She enjoyed golfing.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Chester and William Blair and one sister, Marilyn Cardamone She is survived by her husband Roy Bernardini of Erie; two sons, Richard R. Bernardini and his wife Deborah, of Erie and Robert B. Bernardini, San Francisco, CA; three grandchildren, Lindsay, Cody, and Kaylee Bernardini, and one great-grandchild, Morgan McKinnon. Also survived by a niece Crystal Cardamone of Erie.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at St. Mary's Asbury Ridge and Thomas Iorio from Great Lakes Hospice for their loving care.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kazius Cancer Research Foundation, 130 West 8th Street, Erie, PA 16501. Arrangements are being handled by the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, Erie, PA 16502.
