Loretta M. Kosienski Danylko

Loretta M. Kosienski Danylko, age 89, of Erie, died Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Forestview Health Care after a brief illness.

She was born October 9, 1921 in Monessen, PA, a daughter of the late Frank and Antonia Rochinski Kosienski. She lived in Erie most of her life. She was a past member of the Rosary Society at Saint George Church. She enjoyed gardening and crafts and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband of 59 years, John W. Danylko; two brothers, Walter Kosienski and Edward Kosienski and one sister, Helen Ore.

She is survived by one daughter, Kathleen Brown of Girard, PA; three sons, John W. Danylko, Jr. and his wife Kimberly of Waterford, PA, Thomas J. Danylko and wife Sandra of McKean, PA and James J. Danylko of Bisbee, AZ; one brother, Raymond Kosienski and wife Patricia of McKean, PA; three sisters, Genevieve Wilkosz and Ann Oblinski both of Erie and Joann Kupniewski of Fairview; two sisters-in-law, Cecelia Kosienski of McKean and Audry Kosienski of Waterford; one brother-in-law, Vincent Ore of Erie and six grandchildren, Jordan, Olivia, Ella, Maegan, Christina and Riley. She is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc, 2122 Raspberry Street on Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a service there on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at Saint George RC Church, 5145 Peach Street, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Saint Francis Xavier Cemetery.
