Between UPS, Lyons Transportation Lines (LTL) and Preston Trucking, he spent 32 years in the trucking industry, retiring from the Teamsters Local 397 in 1997.

Luca was an avid handball player, bowler, golfer and a huge Steeler & Yankee fan. He was a member of the National Club, Nuova Aurora Club and American Legion #773. He enjoyed volunteering at the St. Paul's Food Pantry every Tuesday during retirement.

He loved spending time with family and watching all of his children and grandchildren play sports as they grew up. Luca was proud of his Italian heritage and made a memorable trip to the homeland in 2015. He lived life to the fullest, had a gift for making people laugh and was known for saying, "Who has more fun than People!"
