Lucille Ann Vlahos Hutzler

Lucille Ann Vlahos Hutzler, age 65, of 7255 Rupert Drive, died Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at her home after an extended illness. She was born June 20, 1943 in Erie, a daughter of the late Thomas and Julia Torowski Vlahos. She lived in Erie her entire life.

She is survived by three daughters, Stacy Lawrence and her husband Brian of Lake City, PA, Aristea Clark and her husband Michael of Fairview and Kimberly Thompson and her husband Michael of Albion, PA; one son, William Hutzler and his wife Debbie of Erie; one sister, Aristea "Joni" Colonna of Erie; two brothers, Michael Vlahos and his wife Maria of Syracuse, NY and George Vlahos and his wife Columbia of Erie and her mother-in-law, Bernadette Hutzler of Erie. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Sarah, David, Carrissa, Kyle, Ethan, Dominic and Miranda; 3 great-grandchildren, Dorian, Rorie and Camron; many nieces and nephews and her best friend, Snowball.

Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Friday at Holy Cross RC Church, 7100 W. Ridge Rd, at 10 am. Entombment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 1645 W 8th St., Erie, PA 16505, or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Great Lakes Hospice, 1700 Peach St. STE 244, Erie, PA 16501. The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, is handling arrangements.
