Mamie I. Colonna Farbo

Mamie I. Colonna Farbo, age 85, of 3213 Schaper Ave, died Friday, July 11, 2008 at Sarah A. Reed Retirement Center after an extended illness.

She was born July 11, 1923 in Erie, a daughter of the late Berardino and Anna Zonna Colonna. She lived in Erie her entire life. She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Clement, Nicholas and Rudolph Colonna and one sister Gilda Tammariello. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Philip A. Farbo; two sons, Joseph Perry and his wife Louann and Philip P. Farbo and his wife Francine; one daughter, Amelia C. Perino; one brother, Anthony Colonna and his wife Shirley; one sister Mary Bonaminio and one aunt, Virginia Colonna all of Erie. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Monday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a service there on Tuesday at 9:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament RC Church, 1626 West 26th Street, at 10 am. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
