Marguerite L. "Kitty" Amann Fabrizio
Marguerite L. "Kitty" Amann Fabrizio, age 83, of Erie, died Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at her residence after a brief illness.
She was born October 7, 1928 in Erie, a daughter of the late John B. and Jesse Chipman Amann. She lived in Erie her entire. She had worked for the Erie School District and was a volunteer at the American Cancer Society. She was an active member of Saint Stephen Church. Kitty spent her past winters in Bradenton, Florida. She collected angels and was an angel herself.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Joyce Reynolds and two brothers, Thomas and Jack Amann.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Thomas A. Fabrizio, Sr. of Erie; two daughters, Gayle A. Davis and husband Gary of Marienville, PA and Lori A. Yochim and husband Steve of Erie; two sons, Thomas A. Fabrizio, Jr. and wife Ann and Anthony R. Fabrizio both of Erie; one brother, Charles G. Amann and wife Carol of Titusville, PA and two brothers-in-law, Anthony and Robert Fabrizio. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. and may attend a service there on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Stephen RC Church, 1237 West 21st Street, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Kanzius Cancer Research Foundation, 130 West 8th Street, Erie, PA 16501.
