Maria A. Cedeno

Maria A. Cedeno, age 50, of 618 East 32nd Street, died Sunday, March 2, 2008 at Hamot Medical Center after an extended illness.

She was born March 11, 1957 in Cayey, Puerto Rico, a daughter of Basilisa Rodriguez and the late Alfredo Cedeno. She enjoyed music and dancing.

She is survived by three daughters, Marilyn Cruz and her husband Cesar Nunez, Johanna Cruz and Michelle Cruz all of Erie; one son, Mickey Cruz of Erie; four brothers, Raul Rodriguez of Puerto Rico, Jose Cedeno and his wife, Lynn of Erie, Miguel Cedeno of Erie and Juan Rodriguez of Erie and four sisters, Nelsie Santiago and her husband Gabriel of Erie, Carmen Rodriguez of Miami, FL, Edna Santiago and her husband Fermin of Erie and Rosa Cedeno and her husband Brandon Allen of Erie. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a Service there on Thursday at 9:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Stephen RC Church, 1237 West 21st Street, at 10:00 am. Burial will be in Erie Cemetery.
