Marie M. (Stratton) Whitby

Marie M. Stratton Whitby, 64, of Erie, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, August 8, 2024. She was born June 30, 1960 in Erie, a daughter of Elizabeth (DiBello) Dautrich and the late Robert M. Stratton

Marie was a graduate of East High School. She was a longtime cook at Panos Restaurant before moving on to customer service at many local convenience stores.

Marie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ellen Lomax and a brother-in-law, Richard Casto.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by; two daughters, Lisa Stratton (Tarell) and Alicia Kuziak (Edward); two sons, Fernando Rivera (Jennifer) and Eric Rivera; two sisters, LuAnn Casto and Bettie Ann Wilt; three brothers, Robert Stratton, James Stratton (Jenn), and Charles Paterniti; and ten grandchildren, Davajah, Tarell, Loyaltee, Nosara, Eric Jr., Ethan, Evelyn, Jose, Ezabelle, and Katie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call on Wednesday at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, Erie, PA 16502 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service there at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
