Marilyn L. Yacobozzi

Marilyn L. Kleiner Yacobozzi, age 76, of Grambrills, MD, formerly of Erie, died Saturday, November 9, 2013 in Arnold, MD. She was born June 10, 1938 in Erie, a daughter of the late John and Louise Lori Kleiner. She lived in Erie most of her life.

Marilyn received a Master's Degree in Sociology from Mercyhurst University and a Doctorate in Sociology at the University of Pittsburgh.

She had worked at Hamot Behavioral Health, Case Management and at Stairways Behavioral Health as a supervisor. She enjoyed golfing and dancing.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael V. Yacobozzi.

He is survived by her daughter, Diane Green and husband Daniel of Hardeeville, SC; two sons, Mark Yacobozzi and wife Cookie of Erie and Edward Yacobozzi and wife Dena of Arnold, MD; eight grandchildren, Ryan, Alexis, Timothy, Mattisin, Alex, Nicholas, Tara and Randy and four great-grandchildren, Tia, Kayla, Page and Benjamin. She is also survived by 1 great great-granddaughter, Aubrey and nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 until time of a prayer service there at 8:45 p.m. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2115 West 38th St., Erie, PA 16508 or to the Anna Shelter, 1555 East 10th St., Erie, PA 16511.
