Marinda N. Matasowski

Marinda N. Matasowski, 20, of Millcreek, passed away Friday, August 3, 2018. She was born July 19, 1998 in Erie, a daughter of Kimberly L. Lobaugh of Millcreek, PA and Patrick M. Matasowski of Cranesville, PA.

She was a 2016 Graduate of McDowell High School, where she participated on the McDowell Varsity Cheer Team for four years. She had been in dance and competition since the age of 3. She attended IUP, was a Certified CNA and she was a proud employee of St. Mary's Home East with plans to go on to neonatal nursing.

Marinda had an infectious personality, sense of humor & beautiful free spirit. She loved spending time with family and friends. Watching the sunset is where you would find her at every opportunity. The light of Marinda's whole life was her son, Jaysen.

Besides her parents she is survived by her son Jaysen, grandparents, Robert and Linda Lobaugh and John and Maryann Matasowski, all of Erie; and two brothers, Patrick R. and Anthony J. Matasowski, both of Erie. Also surviving are aunts, uncles, cousins and cherished friends.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. George RC Church, 5145 Peach Street, on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Private burial will be at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family for her son Jaysen.
