Mario "Danny" F. Necci

Mario "Danny" F. Necci, 90, of Erie, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Western Reserve Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. He was born November 16, 1926 in Erie, a son of the late Frank and Rosina DeSiati Necci.

Mario served in the United State Navy during World War II. He married Antoinette Fratarcangeli Necci in 1951.

He worked at Hammermill Paper Company for 38 years, retiring in 1988.

Mario enjoyed bowling, dancing, reading, crossword puzzles, cards, and singing with his family.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Herb Krahe and his sister, Anita Necci.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Antoinette A. Fratarcangeli Necci of Erie; two daughters, Rosemary Krahe of Erie and Florence A. Kueshner (Ken) of Millcreek; one son, Frank C. Necci (Margie) of Harborcreek; and eight grandchildren, Nichole, Nathan, Andrew, Jacob, Daniel, Amanda, Amber and Ashlyn. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. and may attend a Funeral Service on Monday at the Gate of Cemetery Chapel, 5711 West Lake Road, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family
