Marsha Ann St.George Fronzaglia completed her earthly journey on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at the LECOM Senior Living Center due to complications from a stroke. Marsha was born on October 31, 1944, to Harry C. St.George, Sr. and Carmel (Dolly Santone) St.George.
She attended Villa Maria Elementary and graduated from Mercyhurst Seminary class of 1962. Marsha studied Medical Lab Technology in Cleveland, Ohio and worked at the former Doctors' Osteopathic Hospital in Erie. She married Ronald Fronzaglia in 1965 and they would have celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on April 24th. Together they had 5 children and 6 grandchildren.
After earning her bachelor's degree from Mercyhurst College in 1983, she worked for the American Cancer Society in the Erie office. Perhaps her greatest love was playing the organ in several Catholic churches in the Erie area. In her early teens her father would take her to play for funerals when the regular church organist wasn't available. Marsha was the organist at St. Michael, St. Paul, Sacred Heart and finally St. Francis Xavier in McKean, PA where she played at Masses, weddings, funerals and special devotions for more than 44 years. She devoted more than 60 years of her life to making music for the Lord.
After her retirement in 2022 she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, watching the Hallmark channel and listening to reruns of the Lawrence Welk show.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Joseph H. St.George and Harry C. St.George, Jr.
She is survived by her husband Deacon Ronald Fronzaglia, daughters Amy Fronzaglia, Shelby Fronzaglia, Kayla Fronzaglia; sons Dr. Damian Fronzaglia and Matthew (Maria Maia) Fronzaglia. Also surviving are her 6 grandchildren, Roman, Austin, Stella, Gia, Cora and Tiffany, sisters-in-law Patricia Fronzaglia and Judith Fronzaglia, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Marsha's family is grateful for the care and assistance given to her in the last weeks of her life at the LECOM Senior Living Center-3 West and for visits by Fr. Jason Feigh, Deacon Joe Cicero, Pat Fronzaglia and Rita Fronzaglia.
