Martha J. Chism Henry

Martha J. Chism Henry, age 81, resident of Presque Isle Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, died Tuesday, October 25, 2011 there after a brief illness.

She was born September 2, 1930 in Hammond, IN, a daughter of the late Dorsey and Martha Junkin Chism. She lived in Erie most of her life. She had worked at Panos' Restaurant, retiring in 1997. Martha was loved by everyone. She enjoyed quilting and needlework.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Henry and a daughter, Sandra J. Clinger.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda K. Gordon and her husband Frederick of Erie and one son, James W. Clinger of Waterford and two brothers and three sisters. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Friday from 4 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service there at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
