Mary A. Arnone Sementelli

Mary A. Arnone Sementelli, age 85, formerly of Elmwood Ave., died Friday, February 5, 2010 at Independence Court.

She was born June 26, 1924 in New York, NY, a daughter of the late Anthony and Jenny Palilla Arnone. She lived in Erie most of her life. She had worked for many years at Arnone's Italian Store and at Teresa's Italian Deli. She was a member of the Woman's Welfare League, an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing cards.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dominic D. "Dom" Sementelli and two brothers, Bobo and John Arnone.

She is survived by two sons, Michael L. Sementelli and wife Debi of Carrollton, TX and David A. Sementelli of Cleveland, OH, two grandchildren, Nicholas and Alexander Sementelli and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Monday evening from 7 to 9 pm and may attend a service there on Tuesday at 9:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church, 816 West 26th Street, at 9:30 am. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
