Mary J. Mysnyk Williams, age 68, of Erie, died Friday, February 3, 2012 at UPMC Hamot.

She was born April 25, 1943 in Erie, a daughter of the late George and Doris Joint Mysnyk. She lived in Erie her entire life. Mary had worked at Lake Pleasant Geriatrics. She enjoyed ceramics and gardening.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin L. "Rocky" Williams; a son, Timothy W. Williams; one brother, Robert Mysnyk and one sister, Carol Yeaney.

She is survived by two daughters, Lisa J. Deptula and husband Ron and Sherry L. Sterling; four brothers, George Mysnyk and wife Sandra, Steve Mysnyk, Tom Mysnyk and Mark Mysnyk and wife Tamiko and two sisters, Pauline Pursell and Della Witt and husband Don all of Erie. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a Funeral Service there on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Erie Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
