Mary L. Colonna Bonaminio

Mary L. Colonna Bonaminio, 86, of Erie, died Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Saint Vincent Health Center. She was born November 6, 1928 in Erie, a daughter of the late Bernardino and Anna Zonna Colonna. She lived in Erie her entire life.

Mary was a proud member of the Montenero Ladies Society. She loved to cook.

She was a devoted mother and grandmother and a caregiver to her family and friends.

In addition to her parent she was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas A. "Nick" Bonaminio, three brothers, and two sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Ambrosetti (Quinto); a son, Paul N. Bonaminio; a brother, Anthony Colonna; and three grandchildren, Christopher Bonaminio and his family, Quinto Ambrosetti (Lindsey), and Santina Eger (Jeffrey) all of Erie. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, Mary, Michael, Isabella, and Lily and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Friday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a service there on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Paul RC Church, 1617 Walnut Street, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
